UFO were formed in 1969, and became popular in Japan & Germany with their brand of 'Space Rock'. However they changed their sound to melodic hard rock when guitarist
Michael Schenker joined them for the 'Phenomenon" album in 1974, which contained
their live anthem "Rock Bottom". They became more popular on each album release,
peaking with the awesome live album "Strangers In The Night" in 1979. However,
by then, Micheal Schenker had departed, just as the band became big in the States. Ex-Lone Star guitarist Paul Chapman replaced him for the album 'No Place Run To Run'. Several line-up changes took place before the band split in
