Jools started out as keyboard player for Squeeze in the 70's but left in 1980 to form the Millionaires. He branched out into TV broadcasting, co-hosting Channel 4's influential music program 'The Tube'. After teaming up with former Squeeze member Gilson Lavis, he eventually created the Rhythm & Blues Orchestra. Since becoming the house band on Chris Evan's 'Don't Forget Your Toothbrush', they have released a number of CD's, & now regularly play sell-out tours in the UK.
